Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef needed to expand the Great Reef Census into a global citizen-science effort capable of generating meaningful data at unprecedented scale.

We created a purpose-built digital platform inviting people worldwide to contribute directly to reef science, turning attention into measurable environmental action supported by strategic media partnerships.

The Great Reef Census became the world’s largest online citizen-science survey, with over 100,000 reef analyses across 700 locations in 66 countries.
